Dr. Hermann is a professor of radiology specialized in musculoskeletal imaging with a focus on arthritides. His research is dedicated mainly to the axial skeleton but the peripheral joints as well. The majority of his research projects are in the field of spondyloarthritis, where he is also connected with other researchers from Canada, UK, Germany, and Israel. He has also a strong track in applying innovative technology within medical education. He is an active member of ASAS, ESSR, DGMSR, and DRG and has won the Conrad Wilhelm Roentgen award in 2011, Felix Wachsmann award in 2014 and DVMB research prize in 2015. In 2019 he was promoted to associate professor.

Dr. Torsten Diekhoff is an assistant professor and radiologist with a musculoskeletal focus, particularly in arthro and neuro sonography and interventions on the axial and peripheral skeleton. He obtained his Venia legendi at the Charité in Berlin, Germany, in 2019 with a thesis on "Dual-Energy Computed Tomography in Musculoskeletal Diagnostics." His research focuses on innovative imaging of the spine and joints including rheumatic and traumatic diseases. He was able to recruit a research grant from the Assessment of Spondyloarthritis international Society (ASAS) in 2014 and was honored with the Innovation Award of the German Society for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery in 2019.

Dr. Eshed is a professor of radiology based in Israel, specialized in musculoskeletal imaging with a focus on arthritides. Dr. Eshed is the head of the musculoskeletal unit in the department of diagnostic imaging at Sheba Medical Center and is also the head of the department of radiology at Sackler School of Medicine of the Tel Aviv University in Israel. The majority of her research projects are in the field of spondyloarthritis, where she is also connected with other researchers from Germany, Denmark, Canada, the UK, and more. Her research is mainly dedicated to the characterization of the radiographic aspects of sacroiliac joints and the spine in spondyloarthritis and its differential diagnoses. Dr. Eshed is an active member of the ASAS group, ESSR arthritis subcommittee, EULAR arthritis subcommittee, and the Israeli radiological society.

Dr. Lennart Jans, MD, PhD, is a professor of radiology in Ghent, Belgium. He is the Head of the musculoskeletal imaging section of the department of radiology of Ghent University Hospital. He is also chair of the ESSR arthritis subcommittee and a member of ASAS and OMERACT. As a musculoskeletal radiologist, his main field of interest is in inflammatory musculoskeletal diseases, with a focus on spondyloarthritis. As a fellowship-trained pediatric radiologist at the children's hospitals in Liverpool and Melbourne, he has a special interest in juvenile arthritis. He has authored and co-authored more than 100 scientific papers, co-authored three books, and has given numerous invited lectures.
