About Dr. Pedersen
Dr. Roar Pedersen is head of MSK radiology at Unilabs Norway, a provider of outpatient radiology at 13 locations in Norway. He is also one of the founders of the Norwegian Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and an experienced lecturer in radiology and MSK topics for the past 20 years. He serves as a member of the ESSR Sports Subcommittee. He has a particular interest in hip, knee, and ankle imaging and cooperates with several sports clinics to provide high-quality reports and radiological care. He has a keen interest in quality improvement and efficiency, and has studied and worked with several models to improve the quality of radiological reports.
He maintains an extensive Instagram channel with stunning educational cases.

How is the course structured?
The BCV Master Series: Knee consists of two focused half-day live online sessions on June 10–11, 2026 (14:00–18:45 CEST each day), totalling approximately 9 hours of expert teaching. Each session combines expert lectures, interactive case reading, and moderated Q&A.

Will the course be available as a recording?
Yes. The course recording will be available immediately after each session concludes. You will have access to the recordings — along with all interactive cases — for four months after the course date. However, we strongly recommend attending the live sessions whenever possible, as direct interaction and Q&A with Dr. Pedersen are exclusive to the live format.
What platform is used for the live sessions?

Is this course suitable for beginners?
The course covers a broad range — from fundamentals through to complex and post-operative cases. Participants with a basic understanding of musculoskeletal MRI will benefit most.
What topics are covered?
The curriculum includes: meniscal tears (ramp, root, bucket handle, flap), cruciate ligaments (ACL/PCL), medial and lateral stabilizers, posterolateral corner (PLC), inflammatory arthritis, crystal deposition disease (CPPD, gout), patellofemoral joint pathology, posterior knee pain, bone and trauma findings, and post-operative knee imaging.
Will I receive a certificate of attendance?
CME accreditation has been applied for with the Berlin Medical Association (Landesärztekammer Berlin). We will announce the confirmed number of CME points as soon as accreditation has been granted. Registered participants will be notified directly by email.

The regular ticket is €499 € + VAT (€593.81). Discounts are available and can be combined.
