These features come with the new BerlinCaseViewer version
Continuing education in radiology made easy – following this credo, we regularly update the BerlinCaseViewer app. This way you can study our special cases even more intuitively. The current version is a tad more user-friendly and also comes with a few new features.
Find exciting modules more easily
The number of modules in our shop is growing. The number of languages available as well. So that you can find your way round all of these choices, we have introduced a search option to our shop. With the new search field you can find the modules that really interest you in no time. Here is how it works: Simply enter keywords, diagnoses or names of specialists to get the best results. The intelligent search also includes a filter function, with which you only receive results in the language of your choice.
Improved navigation within cases
We have something for everyone who enjoys scrolling through cases at first, or who wants to return to a colored overlay in the previous series after a few images. Navigating within a case is now even more intuitive. Similar to story formats in social media, you can now easily fast-forward and rewind the series by briefly tapping left or right at the edge of the screen. With a vertical swiping gesture you scroll through the images of a series.
Display and controls in the Mac version
Since the BerlinCaseViewer is available for Mac as well, more and more radiologists have been using the app to view cases in detail on the big screen. Naturally, the controls should be as easy as usual. In the Mac version, we have therefore further improved the scroll function for Magic Mouse and touchpad. Also optimized: The zoom slider now always shows the correct value.
Detailed courses of disease in a new format
So far, in addition to the images in the “info” field, our radiology app has provided you with a brief patient description with information such as gender, age and symptoms. With our new data format for courses of disease, you will soon be able to delve even deeper into each case history in order to arrive at the correct diagnosis.
Last but not least: a bug fix
An error you might not have noticed at all slumbered for a while: The app did not start correctly in the zoomed view mode on iPhones. That too is now a thing of the past.
Discover what’s new in the app
If your BerlinCaseViewer version is not already up to date, now is the time for an update. Try the new features, discover interesting cases, and broaden your radiology horizons. As always, it’s great if you share your experiences with us and other fans of medical imaging via #BCVapp and @berlincaseviewer.
